THE ANTEROS

Luxury, Reconsidered from the Fibre Up: Conscious Select × The Anteros

The Anteros is a mother and daughter. Lisa Rhoads brought decades of business experience and an exacting eye for quality. Bryn Rhoads brought years inside the luxury fashion industry. The brand began when Bryn found herself reaching, again and again, for the pieces her mother had kept for decades. Clothes that had outlasted every trend because they were made properly in the first place.

The Anteros exists to make those pieces again. Every design is decided between the two of them. Colours are drawn from art and interiors, not forecasts.

The Clothes

Shirting in organic cotton and stonewashed Belgian linen. Tailored trousers. Knitwear in a proprietary superfine merino. The collections arrive as Chapters rather than seasons, each one adding to a wardrobe rather than replacing it. The pieces are designed to be machine washed rather than dry cleaned, which spares both the fabric and the chemicals.

The Making

Everything is made from natural fibres only. The merino is sourced from Australian farms and developed into a proprietary fabric with a master fabric engineer in Northern Italy, where it is spun, woven, dyed and finished. The cotton is certified organic and comes from an Italian mill. Garments are sewn in small-batch, family-owned factories across Portugal.

Why The Anteros is a Consciously Selected Fashion Brand: CS Signal

CS Considered | Natural fibres only, with organic Italian cotton, Belgian linen and a proprietary merino developed in Northern Italy. Small-batch production in family-owned Portuguese factories. Machine-washable design that removes dry cleaning from the life of each piece. The mills and factories are not yet named publicly, and Conscious Select is transparent about that.
