Seven Hills was founded in San Francisco in 2024 by Mimi Kelly and Lisa Rissetto. The name comes from the city's hills. The instinct behind it comes from Mimi's mother, whose leather goods label, 49 Square Miles, taught her what a well-made piece of leather can become over a lifetime. Add a lifelong love of horses and the craft of saddlery, and the brand's point of view is clear.

Seven Hills makes belts for women who dress with intention. Pieces bought once and worn for decades, then handed down.

The Belts

Western-inflected belts in burnished vegetable-tanned leather, finished with hand-etched conchos, horseshoe details and statement buckles. The Bozeman, the Woodside, the Nashville and the Amarillo lead the collection. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens with wear, so each belt becomes more personal the longer it is worn.

The Making

The founder sources leather in Milan. Belts are made in small batches by a family-owned factory that the founding family has worked with for more than twenty years, originally in China, with future production moving to a family-owned workshop in Taiwan. Buckles and hardware are sourced in China. Styles are ordered in small units to limit waste, and every order ships with minimal plastic.
